Bio:
Robert Chandler Steele graduated from high school in 1988, after which, he attended Excelsior College in Albany, NY, majoring in Criminal Justice. There, he met his future wife Jackie and decided to pursue a career in the Secret Service. After graduation in the Spring of 1992, he began his extensive 9-month training to do just that.
After his training, he was transferred to a field office in Baltimore, MD, where Jackie eventually joined him. He remained in the field office from 1993 to 1998, and was then transferred to a protective duty at the White House.
His son, Ian, was born in 1993 and daughter Heather in 1995.
Steele remained with the Secret Service until he was approached in 2004 by the enigmatice Mr. Sloane and recruited for a job in the private sector… at Wayne Manor. He was told that “Mr. Wayne was seeking men with ‘select skill sets’ for his security team.” Intrigued, Steele and his family moved to Gotham.
